how can I know salary information about different future careers?

I’m in college but don’t know my future career yet bacause I don’t know what their starting salaries or hourly wage are. Is there any website or online e-brochure than can help me find information about salary and hourly wage for different kinds of career?

Go to monster.com. Take a look at all the salaries on there. It’s quite a good idea as there are lots of different jobs.

Payscale.com is a good source, but it can take long if you just want general info because you actually fill in a profile (you can make it up to test what different degrees or experience would make a difference). It’s kind of fun to do the whole "what-if" thing, though.

try monster job .com you need to consider the profession and also the location you will work / cost of living differentials in making a decision. us dept of labor is also good at stats.
always talk to others in the fields you might be interested in. if you aspire to be a doctor, ask your own dr what it is like , is it a good field / what did you learn ,et.c ask your counselors at school., they can help you hunt for this. reference librarians at local city librarys can help to.
