I am a 19 year old student and plan on getting into dental school. I am looking for a job at a dental office but from what I know, you have to be certified to do so. Are there any part time jobs that you know of that I can take as a student without being certified at a dental office? If so, please tell me the positions and what they are required to do. Thanks.

You can do lab work, clean up work, develop and mount x-rays,clerical work, and even dental assisting without being certified. It all depends if the dentist and his staff are willing to train you. Most are. Good luck on your career.
